Perdido Street Jazz Band​

Perdido Street are one of the UK's longest serving Jazz Bands, having started out over 48 years ago, and performing across the UK and abroad. The bands membership has a pedigree second to none, with players having performed with the likes of Cleo Lane, Shirley Bassey, Tony Bennet, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughan, Don Lusher, Humphrey Littleton and many more. With such an array of talent, the band's repertoire can stretch from Traditional Dixieland to Mainstream to Latin and Modern Jazz. 

 

 

Based in Malvern, Worcestershire - the Band has performed at Jazz festivals as far afield as Gothenburg and La Rochelle and regularly appears locally at the Upton upon Severn Jazz Festival. 

 

Many renowned Jazz artists have appeared with Perdido Street during their carreer - including Acker Bilk, Humphrey Littleton, Bud Freeman, Ralph Sutton, Terry Lightfoot and Clare Teal.

 

The Band can be heard locally each Tuesday evening at the Fox and Hounds at Lulsley
